Weddings are some of my favorite events on the planet. When two people pledge their love and intent to each other while surrounded by their family and friends, it brings a smile to my face every time. It is always colored by the culture of the two distinct families that are present. They are always uniquely their own.
Weddings contain all the emotions. Laughter AND tears. And I am here for it. I consider it the greatest privilege when entrusted with the task of documenting the great occasions. One of the most common questions posed by potential clients is whether I can capture the candid moments. The answer is a resounding YES! It is a bit of a game for me. Capturing candids is like hunting. I am always searching and snapping the moments I see. If you want proof, here are some images from a couple of past weddings.

I will succeed even when the conditions are difficult.
Often during weddings there are technical challenges to overcome to capture images. That may be the result of having poor light quality. It may be a complete lack of light, like in the middle of the dance floor at night. And believe it or not, sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate. I pride myself in having the technical skills to create in all types of difficult conditions.
